Telo Announces Its Tiny Electric MT1 Pickup Truck
The Mini Cooper-sized vehicle features a 60-inch bed and can fit five passengers.
Telo has unveiled its MT1 electric pickup truck that’s engineered for city dwellers who crave adventure and practicality. Designed by renowned industrial designer Yves Béhar, known for his collaborations with esteemed brands such as Herman Miller, Samsung, SodaStream and Prada, the MT1 showcases a fusion of functionality and style.
The Telo MT1 distinguishes itself with a spacious 60-inch bed and a four-door design that comfortably accommodates up to five passengers. This versatile setup allows urban adventurers to transport both cargo and friends without compromising on comfort or convenience. The electric pickup truck possesses an impressive acceleration of 0-60mph in just 4.0 seconds and a top speed of 125mph. Aesthetics-wise, the Telo MT1 takes a departure from the typical rugged truck design. Its boxy, matte-finished exterior exudes a modern and sleek appeal, reminiscent of contemporary electric vehicles like those from Renault. While it may lack the burly and rugged appearance of traditional pickup trucks, the MT1 offers a refreshing take on what an electric pickup can be—a stylish, city-friendly option for outdoor enthusiasts who seek a blend of form and function.
The first batch of Telo Trucks will be hand-built for customer deliveries and are expected to be ready in 2025, followed by mass delivery in 2026.
