Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG)‘s One High Line in New York City has officially been completed. The two twisting towers are found on West Chelsea’s “Architecture Row” where they can be spotted adjacent to works by the likes of Zaha Hadid, Frank Gehry, and Renzo Piano on the High Line path.

The joint project between Bjarke Ingels, Witkoff Groups’ Alex Witkoff, and designer Dan Fink features both residences and a luxurious new Faena hotel. The hotel and 87 residences are housed in the east tower which offers views of the Hudson River and downtown while the west tower features 149 residences overlooking Midtown and the High Line. The two buildings are connected via a double-height bridge lounge with a number of amenities including a 75-foot swimming pool, spa, fitness area, golf simulator, game room, and playroom. Inside, residences combine both classic and modern touches with layouts ranging from one to five bedrooms. Meanwhile, the winding nature of the glass and travertine stone structure serves more than just aesthetic purposes with angles optimizing views from each room.

“The building we’re in is facing west. We’re still only eight floors from the top, but as we go higher the building gets wider so we get the sunset,” Bjarke Ingels told designboom. “We’re still only eight floors from the top, but as we go higher the building gets wider so we get the sunset. So the twisting face right now is actually facing north, but it is adjusting to ultimately become completely straight to the west. As we get lower we’re opening up this view portal for the east tower.”
