Emerging Spanish Label unfeigned Studies Formal Techwear for FW23
Get well-acquainted with the Madrid-based label that fuses sartorial styling with tech touches.

Emerging brands are a dime a dozen, so what makes one stand out from the next? This is the mission that the Madrid-based label unfeigned is working on, showcasing its technical expertise one collection at a time.
Following on from its showcase at this season’s Pitti Uomo trade fair, unfeigned has captured its Fall/Winter 2023 collection, spotlighting the brand’s ability to combine traditional sartorial cues with technical fabrications.
For example, high-performance jackets with matching pants are thermo-sealed, while others are water-repellent, but cuts are slim and lightweight, indebted to a world of formality. Fastening is neat, buttons snap in place tightly, necks are round, hems are straight — it’s all a simplified study of techwear and a welcomed switch to the hardcore gorp we’ve come to see from many a brand today.
Technicalities are applied in subtler ways, puffing up a cashmere pullover (which is spot-on this season as we see puffication and redaction appear at the likes of LOEWE, JW Anderson, Prada and more). FW23 also offers an array of essentials, ranging from layering staples like checkered shirts to henley tops in pastel orange, while ramping up the tech vibe once again is a grey-black contrast panel anorak.
