LMC SS23 Brings a Vintage Aesthetic to Wardrobe Staples
Leaning into tie-dyes, tracksuits and varsity jackets inspired by the late 1960s.
LMC recently revealed its Spring/Summer 2023 collection, which was designed around the theme of “Peace, Freedom, and Reversal” to honor hippie culture from the late 1960s.
The collection stayed true to the 1960s aesthetics which is highlighted by the use of tie-dye patterns for comfort-focused sweatpants. Functionality is emphasized throughout the collection, as are colorful renditions of wardrobe staples. Long-sleeved polos and multi-pocketed sweatpants offer a relaxed look, while cardigans and workwear button-ups are perfect over shirts for layering.
Graphic-ladened tees and sweaters with varsity-like branding is featured in the collection. For outerwear, toned-up colors that convey LMC’s unique style and splendor of the season were used, examples being green and white varsity jackets, green leather jackets, and orange jackets. Playful and whimsical designs are the main emphasis of sweatshirts, T-shirts, pants, and accessories including ones that feature a black rabbit, in honor of the Year of the Rabbit.
The SS23 collection can be found on the LMC website and flagship store starting on February 1 at 10 p.m. EST.
