According to EDITED, adidas Samba increased availability in Q2 while struggling to stay on shelves in succeeding months. While we’ve already seen receptionist glasses come into fashion, strong-shouldered blazers with oversized outlines also dominated the FROW in New York, London, Milan, and Paris – with blazers having leaped up in popularity by 167% in 2023. A$AP Rocky’s papped-out Bottega Veneta campaign has also taken “Yuppiecore” to new levels, while Billie Eilish‘s grunge tailoring has sprung Gen-Z into action.
Leather and denim revived formal dressing at Pharrell Williams’ Pre-Fall 2024 destination show for Louis Vuitton, with the two trending materials revitalizing suitwear with slouchy pinstriped patterns and silver-printed monograms.
