Two Peaky Blinders spinoffs are reportedly in the works over at Netflix.

As per Bloomberg, the first spinoff will be set in the middle of the 20th century in Boston, a few decades after Peaky Blinders came to an end. The second one will be based on Aunt Polly Gray, the matriarch of the Shelby Clan in the original series. Plotlines and casts are yet to be announced, and it remains to be seen if they will somehow incorporate Helen McCrory, the actress who played Polly in the series, following her death in 2021.

While the spinoffs are still unconfirmed, Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight recently revealed that the script for a spinoff movie is almost finished. “I’m just working on the final bits of it at the moment,” he confirmed. “I just sit down at the keyboard and start. It’s a bit like having a dream, for me. You sit there and all this stuff comes, and then you read it back and think, ‘That’s pretty good – but where did it come from?’” He added that he intends to begin shooting in mid-2024, but it is not confirmed if the original cast will return.
