Trophy Hunting x '47 Are Redefining NBA Style

Trophy Hunting is following up its PUMA collaboration with another sportswear-meets-streetwear range. The Black, AAPI and Latinx-owned sportswear label has now teamed up with athletic apparel aficionado ‘47 to present a fresh approach to NBA style in the Trophy Hunting x ’47 NBA capsule collection.
“Rather than dictate the collection according to team colors, the color palette of this capsule is classically inspired and style-led, anchored in navy and forest green with pops of gold,” explains Trophy Hunting’s Kari Cruz. “Named for the pursuit of personal greatness, Trophy Hunting celebrates self-defined success. This ethos comes to life in [this collection], which features a Larry O’Brien trophy motif across each style.”
The Weatherproof Coach’s Jacket ($250 USD) leads the pack, coming in a striking yellow colorway and crafted from a water-resistant poly/nylon. The jacket’s internal satin lining takes Trophy Hunting’s signature Blackwatch Plaid pattern and infuses the Larry O’Brien trophy motif throughout the silhouette.
An extremely intentional collection, Trophy Hunting implements its circle logo throughout the collection as well. Stitched on the right sleeve of the jacket as a silicone patch, the logo resembles a seal rather than a logo. “Each circle represents the infinite process of Trophy Hunting: the chase and reward, the journey, and the ceremony; a fitting marker for this collaboration,” Trophy Hunting reveals a statement.
Three styles of hats are included as well: a Wool Strapback Hat, a cotton-twill Bucket Hat and a Blackwatch poly Bucket Hat, Peep the full range, which also includes a sweatshirt, sweatpants and graphic tee, below.
