MB&F has opened its first physical location in the U.S. Located in Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive, the newly unveiled MB&F LAB is a new hybrid retail space that’s part concept store, boutique, and gallery.

The birth of the new MB&F location also serves to celebrate Max Büsser, and Westime’s long-time partnership. When Büsser first founded MB&F, Westime was one of the first few retailers that stocked its experimental timepieces and offerings. Recalling his first meeting with Westime’s founder in 2005, Büsser said, “When I stumbled into John Simonian’s office with a piece of plastic vaguely resembling our first creation (HM1), hoping he would order and partially pre-finance a few pieces, I never, in my wildest dreams, thought we would open the Beverly Hills MB&F LAB on Rodeo Drive together one day.”

Welcoming visitors at MB&F LAB are selections of the brand’s innovative and avant-garde horological creations, spanning creative watches, clocks, and music boxes developed in partnership with the likes of REUGE and L’Epée 1839. The space not only functions as a store but also as a hub for collectors where they can connect and appreciate MB&F’s gallery-like cabinet of curiosities. While the façade of the store boasts more traditional appeal with its bricked walls, its spacious interiors present a minimalist and contemporary atmosphere that’s imbued with futuristic elements — all rendered in a palette of stone gray, white, wood, and touches of chrome.
