While promoting his new Netflix film, Rebel Moon, director Zack Snyder shared his interest in directing a Fortnite movie. Already known for his interest in the battle royale shooter, Snyder emphatically said, “of course,” when asked if he would helm a live-action adaptation of the Epic Games title.

During a recent interview, Snyder said, “I mean, of course,” when asked if he would ever “want to combine” his passion for filmmaking and playing Fortnite. The director also shared that he tried to get skins based on Rebel Moon added to the free-to-play game.

“Look, Fortnite is an amazing world, and it is an amazing distraction for me,” Snyder said. “It’s really cool, and the alchemy that they’ve created there is really unique. When I started playing it I thought I knew what it was and then it was something entirely different.”

Continuing to touch on directing a live-action Fortnite movie, “You definitely don’t know. You definitely can never say never. That’s my mantra in this business.”
