FOUND's Latest Collection Explores "Two Sides of the Same Coin"
Using its South Asian heritage and rural American upbringing to craft garments that present the shared textures and beauty of both origins.
USA-based clothing brand FOUND has just presented its latest collection titled “Two Sides of the Same Coin,” using its ethos of aligning with family-based sentiment to unveil a line that winds the web of time, heritage, and cultural identity.
As a whole, FOUND uses its South Asian heritage and rural American upbringing to craft garments that present the shared textures and beauty of both origins. Emerging from a cultural backdrop infused with the vibrancy of rich textiles and motifs, these are used alongside delicate embroideries, and the ingenuity of bare-handed artisans in their homeland of Pakistan.
With this in mind, FOUND’s latest collection merges the foreign and familiar, with both puffer and work jackets featuring patterns borrowed from traditional foreign attire being included along with double-pleated trousers, intricately detailed cable-knit sweaters, hoodies hit with floral motifs and button-down shirts made from uniquely-sourced fabrics.
Elsewhere, other highlights come in the form of the all-new Farmstead Quilt Patch Jacket which takes inspiration from vintage competition jackets, displaying patches that symbolize farm stands while evoking the rural landscapes where the designs originated.
FOUND’s Gardenia Tapestry Puffer Jacket — which draws inspiration from various South Asian prints — also comes alongside a fresh Horse Equine Work Jacket, hit with a vibrant color-blocking design pattern to round off the collection.
You can check out the new collection from FOUND above and it’s available to shop via the brand’s official website now.
