For fans of the beloved manga and anime series, Netflix has now offered a new trailer for its upcoming live-action adaptation of Yu Yu Hakusho. Unveiled during the streaming platform’s global virtual event, “Geeked Week,” the teaser trailer and art share a look at the cast of the series.
The teaser trailer unveils iconic characters Yusuke, Kurama, Hiei, and Kuwabara in action referencing the source material. Utilizing cutting-edge technologies from around the world, the production team brought the universe of Yu Yu Hakusho to life. With remarkable visual effects created by the Scanline VFX team, assisted by the cast and crew in Japan through a global one-team production strategy between Japan and the United States.
Watch the new trailer for the Yu Yu Hakusho live-action series above and look for the show to premiere exclusively on Netflix December 14.
