Drôle de Monsieur Taps Into Games With Pinetti
Handcrafted in Italy.
Dany Dos Santos and Maxime Schwab’s Dijon, France-based brand, Drôle de Monsieur, has always centered a “reunion between the Seventies” with its garment design approach, according to the brand itself. Since its establishment in 2024, the self-taught designers have continuously refined their vision of fused yet homage-paying styles through eye-catching prints, warm color palettes and elevated yet wearable pieces. Now the brand is adding to its world by moving into luxury games.
To bring the new arm of its brand to life, Drôle de Monsieur teamed up with Bergamo, Italy-based, luxury leather accessories manufacturer, Pinetti. The new collaboration sees the two entities craft limited-edition versions of Connect 4 and Jenga. With luxury on the mind, the games have been made with fine materials including walnut wood and calf leather.
The pieces appear in warm natural wood hues alongside cuts of beige and pine green. Due to the attention to detail and enhanced materials, each game takes up to four days to complete – comprising cutting, painting, stitching and assembling steps. Aside from centering on moments of fun, the handcrafted games are meant to be passed down through generations as special mementos.
