WISDOM x oqLiq Collaborate for FW23 Release
A first time partnership for the two Taiwanese brands.
Taiwanese brands WISDOM and oqLiq have set out on their first-ever collaboration with one another to launch a collection called “GRID EVOLUTION,” a line of Fall/Winter 2023 wears.
First announced during Taipei Fashion Week, items in the collection use jacquard textures and present themselves as unique, utility-driven, modern takes on oriental charm.
The fabrics in GRID EVOLUTION have been developed by oqLiq and are composed of various tear-resistant structures like “lattice, triangle, honeycomb, and diamond” woven with different yarns. — a new form of Ripstop is also presented through the same fabric design.
In addition to the utility-based fabrics created for the outwear items in the collection, WISDOM and oqLiq are also offering tee shirts with geometric design patterns at the back, which they describe as representative of a multiverse of time frames.
Other joint considerations held in mind when creating the collection were the need for items to feature “breathability, quick-drying, storage, and windproof” functions. The collection, consisting of outwear, pants, shirts and nozzle quiz socks will be available for purchase starting November 2 via Taiwan-based retailer WHITEROCK, followed by a release at select WISDOM and oqLiq stores on November 3.
