Take a Look Around The New London Headquarters of DICE
Complete with a curving metal bar, DJ booth, and vinyl library.
Sella Concept has transformed a four-floor Victorian building into the new home for ticketing and live event platform DICE.
Located in east London, the headquarters have been designed to feel homely, with warm tones and tasteful details employed throughout. For DICE CEO Phil Hutcheon – in addition to providing an inspiring place for employees – avoiding gimmicky office designs was paramount. “We kept meeting design firms and they were all the same – functional or wacky designs that felt like an office I would never want to work in,” he said. “I didn’t want another office, I wanted a space where people felt inspired.”
A regular at the on-site cafe, Hutcheon asked to meet the team behind its interior design, and as such, Sella Concept was brought on board.
Overall, the team took a modern yet warm approach. Inspired by Italian designer Gae Aulenti – “she believed in the power of the occupants in the making of a room” – Sella Concept’s Creative Director and Founder Tatjana von Stein kept focus on the people who will use the space.

On the ground floor, an open plan is sociable and flexible, and has the ability to transform into an events space. Here, integrated seating sits amongst a curved metal wall that conceals a kitchen and bar. Elsewhere, and to accommodate the company’s monthly talks programme, a DJ booth has been placed on a central platform.
Across the first and second floors, workspaces and meeting rooms are dotted, while the top floor offers a space for quiet research and reading, with a library full of books and vinyls.
For most of the furniture, Sella Concept came up with bespoke designs, which have been made by British craftspeople a combination of responsibly sourced cotton, stainless steel and wood. To add to the lived-in feel, vintage pieces were selected and slotted in around the entire office.
