As the week in music comes to a close, Hypebeast has rounded up the best projects for the latest installment of Best New Tracks.

This week’s lineup is led by Drake, Denzel Curry with Ronny J and Tems, who each released the album For All the Dogs and the singles “WOO” and “Me & U,” respectively. Also joining this selection are offerings from Jay Rock, Maeta with Ambré, Earl Sweatshirt with The Alchemist, Aesop Rock, CZARFACE with Nems and NNAMDÏ with Big Baby Scumbag.

Drake - For All the Dogs

Drake’s highly-anticipated album For All the Dogs is almost a return to form; the album is an elevated version of his earlier catalog and almost combines the different eras of Drizzy together. The artist is true to his word when he teased the beloved line “They say they miss the old Drake, girl don’t tempt me” as part of the album’s promo, giving fans more than what could have been expected.

Denzel Curry x Ronny J – “WOO”

Denzel Curry and Ronny J reunite on “WOO,” the pair’s first release in years. “The ‘WOO’ session was good considering this is the first session Ronny J and I have done in years,” the rapper shares in a statement. “We brought in Chief Pound, who’s been an essential part of ULT from its conception and having PlayThatBoiZay on the record really shows the unity in Carol City.”

Tems – “Me & U”

Tems is back with her first single in two years, “Me & U.” The cut is produced by Guilybeatz and Tems and arrives with an accompanying music video shot in Malta and directed by the artist herself. “‘Me & U’ is about discovering the real me, building a genuine relationship with the Creator, and gaining a true perception of self,” she says of the track.

Jay Rock – “Ambition (Freestyle)”

Jay Rock follows up “Too Fast (Pull Over)” with his newest freestyle, “Ambition.” The cut hears the TDE OG touch on his focus on a new project and how he’s managed to craft such a long career. A new Jay Rock album is well overdue, and hopefully his recent sting of releases is a hint that the the successor to Redemption is on its way.

Aesop Rock – “By The River”

Aesop Rock preps for the release of his upcoming album Integrated Tech Solutions (dropping November 10) with the new single, “By The River.” The cut is described as a “pan-syllabic meditation on Aesop’s love of rivers near and far” and hears the artist share his lyrical train of thought over a jazz-infused sonic backdrop produced by Aesop Rock himself.

CZARFACE x Nems – “You Know My Style”

CZARFACE, the supergroup of Inspectah Deck, Esoteric and 7L, is back. The trio is set to release their upcoming album CZARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE on streaming on December 1 and is led by the single “You Know My Style” with Nems. “Having known Nems for years, this collaboration was way overdue, and we knew he’d deliver what we’ve all cut our teeth on, that East Coast raw shit,” says Esoteric. “We’re excited about sharing it with the masses.”

Maeta x Ambré – “Control Freak”

Roc Nation’s newest signee Maeta delivers a new music video for “Control Freak” with labelmate Ambré. The visual arrives shortly after the remixes of several tracks off her EP When I Hear Your Name, with “Through the Night” currently sitting at No. 15 on R&B Radio.

NNAMDÏ x Big Baby Scumbag – “You Can’t Tell Me Shit”

NNAMDÏ joins forces with Florida rapper Big Baby Scumbag for his newest track, “You Can’t Tell Me Shit.” Of the track, the artist says, “I wrote a lot of this song actually while traveling and commuting. Lyrically it’s just really things I wanted to say to people sometimes but I’d rather just chill and go on about my business lol. My homie Stephan had been listening to a lot of Big Baby Scumbag so we decided to reach out to him. I don’t do a lot of features but he really came with the heat! and quickly too! I’m always trying to do something different to keep myself entertained and this feels like a new expansion has been unlocked.”
