After bringing the cosmic Space Timer Black Hole time-teller to life, now, in celebrating Chronoswiss’ 40th anniversary, the watchmaker readies two striking titanium variants of its revolutionary Opus model, aptly named the Opus Titanium.

First unveiled in 1995 as the world’s first serially-produced self-winding skeletonized chronograph, the Opus was touted by its makers as a groundbreaking timepiece that revolutionized watchmaking. Continuing on the path of modern timekeeping offerings, the new watches are attired in grade 5 titanium, which bestows the duo with lightweight builds that won’t compromise its wearers’ comfort.

Spotlighted on the new models’ watch faces are its iconic skeletonized dial, offered in vivid blue and green CVD metallic finishes. On the dial, indicators for sweeping hours, minutes, seconds, analog dates, and chronograph seconds, as well as 30-minute and 12-hour sub counters are fitted in a proportional and symmetrical design.

Operating the new 41mm-sized timekeepers are the C.741S caliber, a Valjoux-based integrated chronograph movement that beats at a rate of 28,800 vph, complete with a running time of up to 46 hours.

Speaking on this release, Chronoswiss’ CEO, Oliver Ebstein comments “The new Opus Titanium arrives just in time to mark our 40th anniversary. This watch is not just a product; it’s a statement of our relentless pursuit of innovation and our respect for tradition. Once again, we’re set to wow the world, just as our brand did back in the ’90s.”

The green dial variant is accompanied by a camo-print Cordura strap, while the blue version is paired with a plain blue textile strap. Both versions are currently available via Chronoswiss with a price tag of $14,500 USD each.

In case you missed it, MING presents a sleek new 37.07 Monolith watch.
