After bringing the updated 37.05 Series 2 moonphase watch to the world, MING is back with the unveiling of its 37.07 Monolith reference — a new and refreshing limited-edition time-teller centering on functionality and utilitarian appeal.

The new limited-edition watch shares the same 38mm case size as MING’s 37.07 Mosaic model from 2022, which was created to celebrate the brand’s fifth anniversary. Aside from the size, the two also share similar aesthetic features, from the proportions to the pattern dial. Despite this, both watches exude a completely different mood and look — the Mosaic boasts a bright and luminous design, meanwhile, the Monolith opts for a matte black palette with subtle textures.

Thanks to a thinner inner bezel, the 37.07 Monolith also gives off the impression of a larger watch face than the Mosaic, which aligns with the series’ “minimize bezel and maximize dial” motto. The reference is paired with a new Jean Rousseau strap, made from textured calf leather, and comes with a black and burnt orange Alcantara lining for a pop of color.

At the heart of the timepiece is the Sellita for MING SW210.M1 movement, a manual-winding caliber outfitted with anthracite skeletonized bridged, finished with contrasting rhodium circular brushing, and a power reserve of up to 40 hours.

The MING 37.07 Monolith will be released as a limited edition of 250 pieces and will be available for pre-order via the brand’s online shop from October 12, 1 p.m. GMT/ 9 a.m. EDT. Retailing for 3,500 CHF (approximately $3,843 USD), a 50% deposit will be required upon ordering, while the timepiece is expected for dispatch starting in November.
