Revolution and Atelier Wen Collaborate on a Modern Chinese Timepiece
Introducing the dazzling Perception “Càn”.

The latest collaboration to be unveiled by Revolution also marks its second timepiece, co-created with independent watch brand, Atelier Wen. As a result of their reunion, the two parties have crafted a dazzling reference with the name of “Càn” — a fitting name for the golden dial watch, as it derived from the Chinese character 粲, which denotes “brightness” or “splendor.”
Sporting a sleek silhouette, the Atelier Wen x Revolution Perception “Càn” watch features an angular-shaped 40mm case, accompanied by a high-polished convex bezel, and a sporty integrated metal bracelet. Attention is directed towards its golden dial, which boasts an alluring sunray guilloché dial in a brilliant champagne hue. Around the dial is the raised chapter ring, which stars a luminously decorated Chinese lattice pattern. Applied and rhodium-plated indices encircle the radiant dial plate, while lume-filled leaf hands emblazon the center.
Turning over to the back of the timepiece, the ultra-thin SL1588 movement can be partially viewed from the bottom half of the caseback. Touted by the makers as a “modern Chinese timepiece,” the caliber inside is produced by Liaoning Peacock in Dandong, a coastal prefecture-level city in China. Meanwhile, the rest of the caseback features an engraved face of a Chinse guardian lion, whose mouth serves as the window to the caliber inside.
For those who want to change up its look to accommodate a different occasion, outfit, or mood, the watch also comes with an additional integrated FKM rubber strap in dark gray. With only 100 numbered pieces produced, the collaborative timepiece will be officially released on October 18, 10 p.m. SGT/ 10 a.m. EDT on Revolution’s website, retailing for $3,600 USD each.
