The global fashion industry is all over the place. With Creative Directors coming and going every season, things are constantly up in the air. Miuccia Prada‘s Miu Miu has held its stable ground, taking the throne as Lyst Index‘s World’s Hottest Brand for Q3 2023.

Miu Miu was named Brand of the Year for 2022, seeing a 49% increase in internet searches. While Jonathan Anderson‘s LOEWE was named the World’s Hottest Brand last quarter, Miu Miu saw a 16% climb in Q3. The brand’s playful approach to feminine wardrobes has grasped international attention, becoming synonymous with “it” girls far and wide. Miu Miu has embraced collaboration while dominating the Gen-Z market, launching footwear partnerships with Church’s and New Balance throughout the year. Miuccia Prada’s eponymous label recently closed Paris Fashion Week, returning to school with a preppy Spring/Summer 2024 collection. The star-studded showcase saw Gigi Hadid, Troye Sivan, and Cailee Spaeny close the runway in academic uniforms, establishing Miu Miu’s youthful identity with ruffled mini skirts, branded boxer briefs, and plastered flip flops.

Its prevalent approach has bumped LOEWE to second place, seeing Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada’s Italian House take bronze. Q3 welcomes Ferragamo into the Lyst Index race, positioning itself in 20th. It comes as no surprise. British designer Maximilian Davis has polished Ferragamo since his appointment in 2022, elevating the luxury House for the past three seasons.

Versace dropped into fifth place for Q3 2023, seeing excitement fizzle out after its Dua Lipa collaboration earlier this year. Matthieu Blazy‘s Bottega Veneta climbs one place, while Saint Laurent and Moncler ascend to sixth and seventh thanks to celebrity campaigns and partnerships with Pharrell Williams, adidas, Billionaire Boys Club, and more. Valentino sits in eighth place above Jacquemus, who rose six spots in Q3. Burberry completes the top 10 brands, increasing by four since Q2 2023.

We expected Louis Vuitton to land high, seeing that Pharrell Williams‘ appointment as Creative Director garnered global praise in June. This was met with disappointment, only climbing two places after his spectacular debut in Q2. Now, Louis Vuitton has fallen to sixteenth below Dolce & Gabbana, Balenciaga, Dior, Gucci, and Glenn MartensDiesel. Kim Kardashian‘s shapewear brand Skims settles at 17, while Fendi, JW Anderson, and Ferragamo complete the top 20.

This season’s Hottest Products are a thrilling mix of footwear and accessories, ranging from New Balance to Tory Burch and Acne Studios. The Maison Margiela Tabi Mary Jane dominates at number one, growing in popularity by 342% after “The Tabi Swiper” took over New York City. The TikTok-famous thief terrorized the Big Apple last month, stealing dozens of shoes after casual Tinder dates. Miu Miu’s cashmere cardigan comes in second place, followed closely by COS‘ quilted bag that has stormed social media with vast carrying space.

Martine Rose‘s second Nike collaboration is included in fourth, released before the women’s World Cup. “A 70% spike in searches for the new iterations of the already popular Shox MR4 Mule shoe made the hybrid sneaker-mule the fourth hottest product this quarter,” states Lyst Index. The Birkenstock Arizona, Tory Burch pierced mules and LOEWE Puzzle tote land below, seeing the New Balance 550 continue its popular stance. Taylor Swift reignited the low-top sneaker, with searches soaring by 44% after appearing at the Kansas City Chiefs football game.
