Update: According to an official representative for Supreme, the brand is denying the rumor and labeling it as fake. No official announcement on new appointments has been made.

Original Story: Los Angeles-based label Advisory Board Crystals was founded by Remington Guest and Heather Haber in 2015 after an unexpected joint Uber ride. Fast-forward eight years, and Advisory Board Crystals have developed a cult following of romantic fashion fans.

The rumor mill has been touring its usual route, alleging that the co-founders will become Supreme‘s new Creative Directors. Denim Tears founder Tremaine Emory took over the NYC streetwear label in February 2022, exiting his role as Creative Director earlier this summer. His year-and-a-half-long stint was cut short due to systemic racism, sharing text messages with Supreme leaders on Instagram. “l left Supreme because of systemic racial issues the company has from the treatment of the Arthur Jafa collab to the make up of the design studio that has less than 10% minorities working when the brand is largely based off Black culture,” stated Emory after his departure.

Guest and Haber’s appointment would set Supreme on new paths with its first pair of Creative Directors. Haber would also become Supreme’s first female leader. ABC’s recent history aligns with the brand’s target markets, seeing seasonal collections gain virality through KITH, NBA, and Vans collaborations.

ABC’s appointment has not been confirmed by Supreme, but stay tuned for more information coming soon.

Elsewhere, the Heaven by Marc Jacobs x Dr. Martens Mary Jane goes grunge for third collaboration.
