H. Moser & Cie. Crafts the Flying Tourbillon Streamliner in Red Gold
Along with a Vantablack dial.

H. Moser & Cie. has just elevated the Streamliner to a new level with a new precious metal release. Switching things up after the release of an all-steel version, H. Moser & Cie. remakes the watch in 5N red gold while adding in a flying tourbillon. Making sure that the tourbillon stands out along with the Globolight hands is a Vantablack dial – a material that absorbs 99.965% of the light.
Moser describes the watch as: “For this version of its Streamliner model, H. Moser & Cie. has chosen to adorn all its perfectly rounded curves – from its cushion-shaped case to its integrated bracelet with articulating links – in red gold. Extremely meticulous polishing and satin-finishing work on adjacent surfaces are required to obtain the high-end finishes for which the Streamliner collection has become renowned. The transitions between the different types of finishes must indeed be flawless.”
This Streamliner (ref. 6804-0400) is sized at 40mm and is powered by an HMC 804 automatic Manufacture caliber, where it beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour. While most precious metal watches sacrifice everyday wear utility, this red gold Streamliner maintains a three-day power reserve and 12 ATM of water resistance. The retail price for this watch is $119,900 USD.
