Closer Look at Bodega's Salomon X-Mission 4 Suede "Full Bleed" Collab
The Boston-based retailers taps NYC-based artist Shaun Crawford for its latest campaign.
Salomon and its collaborative arm have been extremely active as it has unloaded joint sneakers with the likes of Children of the Discordance, COSTS, Kar L’Art de L’Automobile and The Broken Arm in recent memory. And now the sportswear imprint is strengthening its output this week by teaming up with Bodega to produce an X-Mission 4 Suede collaboration.
For the team-up’s campaign, Bodega called up Shaun Crawford — a NYC-based artist who possesses an affinity for fashion, vibrant ink, and tie-dye — to help model the sneakers. And it makes perfect sense considering that one of the main highlights of the sneaker is the smoky combination of black and gray tie-dye graphics that dress up the side walls. In some of the campaign photographs, Crawford is even spotted rocking a tie-dye long sleeve tee to further echo this narrative. Bold accents of yellow, pink and teal are also distributed to the tongues, heels and lace loops which speak to hues often associated with hiking sneakers.
