Balenciaga Celebrates Pride Month With New Capsule
Set to benefit Outright Action International.
Balenciaga has unveiled a new capsule collection in celebration of Pride Month. With an accompanying campaign titled “Anybody Is Queer,” the new offering commends all identities and furthers the brand’s promotion of LGBTQ+ visibility.
Appearing in classic black and white, the capsule includes t-shirts, hoodies, fitted tops, scarves, caps, socks and jewelry. Placed across all of the pieces is a gendered symbol-inspired graphic design. The two figures are holding hands and convey both masculine and feminine identities. Additionally, the back of items like hoodies and t-shirts showcase international inclusivity flags. Finishing off the capsule are one-off interactions of Balenciaga’s Pool Slide, Track Sneaker, gym shorts and shoelaces.
15% of profits from the capsule are set to benefit the LGBTQ+ human rights organization, Outright Action International.
