Nike Looks to the Past With Its New Air Force 1 Mid "Timeline"
In celebration of the Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary.
Following the release of Nike’s “Chocolate” Air Force 1 Mid, the sportswear giant is now offering its latest iteration of the sneaker. In celebration of the Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary, Nike is throwing things back with a special edition of the Air Force 1 Mid “Timeline.”
The new offering features a “Cream” textile canvas base with “Tan” leather overlays. Black leather Swooshes can also be spotted atop a “Sail” midsole and rubber outsole. The stand-out feature from the sneaker is the removable timeline receipt on the tongue detailing. In addition to the finer details, an embroidered Star/Swoosh motif is featured at the left shoe’s lateral ankle while the right shoe showcases a playful beaver illustration. Rounding off the design, cork material has been used in the rear.
