‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’ To Debut on HBO Max Next Week
The ‘Harry Potter’-spinoff first hit theaters in April.
Warner Bros.’ Harry Potter spinoff, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, will be receiving an HBO Max release. Nearly a month after hitting theaters across the United States, the fantasy drama will be making its way to a wider audience on the streaming platform.
The David Yates-directed film arrived as the third installment in the spinoff series, following 2016’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and 2018’s Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
Starring Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander and Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore, the narrative is set several years after its predecessor and sees the two wizards take on the dark magic of Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen). Magizoologist Scamander assembles a powerful team of wizards and witches and even taps one brave Muggle baker for the task.
First premiering throughout the United Kingdom in mid-April, The Secrets of Dumbledore landed as the sixth highest-grossing film of 2022. Additional members of the cast include Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams and Katherine Waterston.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore will be available for streaming on HBO Max on Monday, May 30.
