Hender Scheme Launches "re_creation" Furniture Pop-Up
Applying the brand’s signature leathers onto a range of home goods and apparel.

Hender Scheme is launching a “re_creation///Hender Scheme” event in Tokyo, showcasing a range of one-off furniture and apparel crafted in Hender Scheme’s atelier. While primarily known for its premium reworkings of popular footwear models, Hender Scheme is involved in a breadth of activities that range from car interiors to bags and watches. The “re_creation by Hender Scheme” project is another example of the brand’s innovation. Separate from the main label, re_creation specializes in up-leveling furniture and apparel with premium leather touches.
For this upcoming re_creation collection, Hender Scheme’s signature pink-tinted leathers are spread across a range of home goods including chairs, desk lamps, rugs, table posts, and clothing racks. Oval-shaped elbow patches are also applied to a series of vintage apparel pieces including Boston University sweaters, Ralph Lauren shirts, and Levi’s denim jackets.
The “re_creation///Hender Scheme” event will take place at sukima Ebisu in Tokyo from April 30 to May 15. Select pieces will also be available at the sukima Hender Scheme online shop starting May 2.
