The history of wristwatches stretches back 800 years, but even then, it’s not immune to the craze for NFTs that has swept across the world in recent years. We believe it is our responsibility to bring Haute horology into the world of blockchains, a 3D NFT watch project that hopes to create an international community of virtual watch collectors who can revel in a shared love for rare timepieces.

Playing much the same role as a watchmaker in the real world, BETMAN’s first series, titled TIMELESS WATCH CLUB, debuted two models of GMT and SUBMARINER, with a total of 500 watches sold. BETMAN not only enables collectors to bypass the high barriers to purchasing luxury watches in the real world but also allows them to participate in the creation and customization of their own timepieces. To this end, the BETMAN team has created a total of 108 unique components – including straps, bezels, dials and hands — that can be customized on 48 GMT models and 60 Submariner models to result in tens of thousands of possibilities for collectors to explore.

A selected few of BETMAN’s virtual watches will also pay tribute to some of the most successful brands in the NFT world — CryptoPunks and Doodles — in terms of special colorways that echo the color scheme of these artworks.

To mirror the rarity of luxury watches, each watch model and part will only be sold once, and will not be reissued in the future. Among a total number of 1,120 components on offer, collectors will be able to combine four parts with the same serial number to create a Prime Watch, of which only 280 are available, thus giving collectors the chance to upgrade their virtual timepiece.

If you want to form a four-piece set of Prime Watch, only 280 can be built. Therefore, in the future, the diversity of watches and the distinction of senior players will also be changed. In addition, BETMAN also encourages players to look at the Prime Watch on the official website to determine the parts they want, because when the player decides to customize the watch, the original watch and components will be burned together and become a watch with new features. The BETMAN team especially reminds players to pay more attention.

Bridging reality and the metaverse through the world of watches, BETMAN is opening a new chapter in the long history of horology – and you’ll want to be there when the clock strikes 12. The BETMAN 3D NFT watch series will go on sale on March 8, 2022. Find out more online here.
