sacai x Nike Blazer Low Surfaces in Black and White With Glossy Uppers
Chitose Abe enhances the lifestyle model with a more elevated look.
After inviting Brooklyn-based artist KAWS to work with her and Nike, designer Chitose Abe is ready to continue her sacai x Nike collaborations on her own. In 2022, we can expect a multitude of new colorways to be dropped off to the public, one being this black and white Nike Blazer Low iteration that is presented with glossy side panels.
The forthcoming installment channels a yin and yang motif and is by far one of Abe’s most understated offerings that we’ve seen to date. Sidewalls and toe boxes substitute their usual smooth leathers and bring in solid black patent leather. Swooshes still come slapped on in double-stacked fashion, the background insignias being styled in a tonal manner while the foreground logos that extend to the collars are finished in white. Shoelaces and tongues also come doubled up, and both alternate between black and white tones. A tiny pop of orange makes an appearance on the tongues via the Swooshes on the Sportswear logos. Textured midsoles and chevron-patterned outsoles have both been fitted with an angelic paint job.
No release info has been announced just yet, but you can likely expect these to release in the coming months.
