As the stars descended on Las Vegas for the 2022 NFL Pro Bowl, the league linked up with Just Don for a private customization lounge to commemorate each player’s uniques style and crowning achievements.

Made in conjunction with Game Seven and Mitchell & Ness, Don C brought his penchant for vintage sportswear that was tailor-made to a list of athletes, including Deebo Samuel, CeeDee Lamb, Devin White, Kyler Murray and Jonathan Taylor, amongst many.

Each player was provided a fleece letterman jacket with a black base and grey sleeves. Don C walked everyone through a double-sided sheet with a number of customization options — from NFC and AFC logos, stars to indicate everything from the number of pro-bowls a player has played in or to show family symbolism, to a classic embroidery of the player’s name, position, number and team that could be placed on the chest, hoody or back.

A proud Chicagoan, Don C was just nine when the Chicago Bears won their only Super Bowl title in 1985. “That was the best team ever,” he confidently told HYPEBEAST. When looking back on the long history of cherished logos and uniforms, Don was quick to bring up the iconic longsleeve jerseys of the era between the ’60s-70s. “I also love the post-’94 logo on the jersey — it used to be a real patch!

Amongst the tide of minimalist fashion, Don notes of how personable items are nestling back into the public’s radar. “I think personable items are the future,” said Don C, adding, “Think about it like this: you spend a lot of money on a Balenciaga hoody and you pull up and a bunch of other people got the same hoody — it used to not be like that. If you knew you got something, you would be the only person who did in your bubble. Now, a lot of people in your bubble have it. The lines are blurred — I don’t know who the trendsetters or followers are —they both look alike. I love when people have their own individual style.”

All eyes are set now on the big dance — Super Bowl LVI, between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium.

In case you missed it, Washington unveils ‘Commanders’ as new team name.
