JULIUS' FW22 "EREBUS" Collection Exists in Chaos
In Greek mythology, Erebus is the personification of darkness.
Returning to unveil its creations for Fall/Winter 2022, JULIUS, founded by Tatsuro Horikawa, has put together an evocative lookbook for its latest seasonal collection. Dubbed “EREBUS,” the collection is named after Erebus, the primordial deity that serves as the personification of darkness, in Greek mythology.
Inspired by one of the five being in existence born in Chaos, the collection is centered around a mix of black and gray that symbolizes madness and pain respectively. Through the collection defined by expert tailoring are brighter orange elements that highlight the architectural structures that inform silhouettes. A striking duality between light and darkness creates a contrasting flow that expresses contemporary style.
