Formex Drops Entry-Level Field Automatic Collection
Grade 2 titanium automatic starts at $795 USD.

Swiss brand Formex has dropped a new entry level Field Automatic collection of titanium time and date watches.
The 41mm grade 2 titanium watches have been given a hardening treatment to increase their surface hardness from 145 to 900 Vickers for added scratch resistance while retaining the metal’s lightweight and hypoallergenic properties.
The textured concave dials – which are offered in shades inspired by vintage machinery including Charcoal, Petrol Blue, Ash Grey, Mahogany Red, Ultra Violet and Sage Green – use recessed Arabic numerals and indices filled with Super-LumiNova for added legibility.
Inside is a Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement with 38 hours power reserve, while a screw-down crown helps achieve 150m water resistance.
The Field Automatic is offered on a choice of either lightweight nylon Velcro or leather straps with the brand’s carbon composite clasp with fine adjustment system.
The Field Automatic collection is available via Formex, with prices starting at $795 USD.
