British-Nigerian artist Yinka Ilori is opening the doors to his first pop-up shop in the British capital. Located in East London’s Shoreditch neighborhood, Ilori’s vibrant style jumps from wall to wall, submerged in West African inspirations.

The space is packed with the artist’s reimagined homeware and lifestyle products doused in rich hues that reflect his lively culture. Geometric displays are designed to emulate the structure of mosques found in Burkina Faso, West Africa, and are stacked with everything from plates to books, basketballs, and more.

Launching a new collection in-store, Yinka Ilori draws inspiration from his pandemic debut and presents a series of playful objects created for memory-making. The range features a reimagined Ayo Game, graphic T-shirts, umbrellas, and notebooks for everyday use.

The pop-up store will also host several community-building events, including basketball signings, Ayo Game tournaments, and more. In addition, 5% of all profits will be donated to Shelter, a charity helping to combat homelessness.

Take a look at Yinka Ilori’s London store above, which is open now and closes on January 3, 2023 at 9 Club Row, London, E1 6JX.

In other news, Milk Bar and The Original Donut Shop unite for a slew of holiday treats.
