Giorgio Armani is synonymous with luxury. The 47-year-old label has built an extensive legacy and continues to deliver polished classics that speak for themselves. This season, Giorgio Armani’s Neve division took its elegant antics to the snowy mountains of St. Moritz, Switzerland, where guests were welcomed into the town’s historic Olympic stadium.

Furry blankets enhanced the wooden setting to shield attendees from negative temperatures, while soothing violins marked the beginning of Giorgio Armani Neve’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection. The tunes quickly transitioned into thumping dance music as models made their way around the square-shaped runway ornamented with batches of snow.

The eco-friendly showcase produced alongside the Swiss Tourist Board delivered a slew of refined winter garments ideal for eventful aprés ski affairs. The co-ed range kept sleek structures at the forefront, supplying cheetah print fur coats atop quilted puffers and thick-cut leather boots to take on icy pathways.

The menswear line continues with velour salopettes suspended from Neve-branded straps alongside cable knit jumpers and hooded neck warmers matched with ribbed beanies. Further highlights include reversible ski sets, fleece anoraks, and slouchy bottoms equipped with utilitarian pockets for increased storage while on the slopes. GA’s circular Neve patch adorned garments throughout, including diverse glove designs, headgear, and over-the-shoulder belt bags.

For women, long-haired hats, gloves, boots, and bags flowed against the wind like creatures coming alive, paired with silver-trimmed ski jackets, belted bottoms, and calf-length puffer coats. Vibrant cropped outerwear was dominated by funky ’90s prints, while geometric pullovers accompanied weather-resistant nylon and vinyl trousers for mountain-to-chalet transitions.

Angelic melodies brought the showcase to a close as Mr. Armani himself took a bow and was awarded a well-deserved standing ovation from his intimate batch of guests.
