Liam Gallagher and Clarks Originals Come Together to Revive the Rambler
Sporting the ex-Oasis frontman’s face embossed onto the luxe leather heels.
Ex-Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has a uniform loved by many — think Stone Island jacket, slim-fitting Levi’s and a pair of his own adidas Spezial sneakers. Only now, there’s a new shoe on the collaborative block, as LG has joined forces with Clarks Originals to revive the archival Rambler silhouette.
Clarks Originals and LG are no strangers, as the multifaceted artist is also often seen wearing a pair of Desert Treks or the seminal Wallabee on his feet as he walks around North London’s fields and streets. For his own take on a pair of Clarks Originals, the musician puts the focus on what makes a set of these shoes so classic, and that’s the level of quality.
Made in Portugal, the LG x Clarks Originals Rambler sports a suede and leather upper doused in autumnal hues of light tan and brown, coming together with dual-branding on the signature lace tags and an embossed portrait of Gallagher on the heel, sitting alongside the moniker “LG RAMBLER.”
Naturally, we find a crepe rubber sole unit underpinning the style, as well as Clarks Originals’ proprietary ergonomic insoles for all-day comfort, also branded up per the collaboration. Rounding out the look are two sets of laces and a special box, nodding to the fact these shoes are incredibly limited and will only be stocked at a very small handful of Clarks retailers and accounts — including Aphrodite1994.
