Gozney's Tom Gozney Signature Edition Roccbox Supports Addiction Recovery
Proceeds from the premium pizza oven will go towards the non-profit To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA).
Premium pizza oven brand, Gozney, has recently released the “Tom Gozney Signature Edition Roccbox.” All-black take on the world’s first portable pizza oven is inspired by founder Tom Gozney’s rebellious approach to design and celebrates his 15-year journey from substance abuse recovery to visionary designer. Committed to donating $100,000 USD, proceeds from each sale of the special release will go to Gozney’s new charity partner non-profit To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) to aid their support and recovery programs.
The Tom Gozney Signature Edition Roccbox is covered with a matte-black ceramic bonded paint and comes complete with a matching black anodized placement peel. Additionally, every oven is engraved with “030207,” the date of Day 0 of Tom Gozney’s sobriety.
“Reconnecting with friends and family through cooking pizza not only marked a pivotal moment in my own personal recovery, it also inspired me to start Gozney with the hope of making live-fire cooking accessible to everyone,” said Gozney founder, Tom Gozney. “The Signature Edition Roccbox represents my own personal journey from substance abuse recovery to the designer, entrepreneur and father I am today. Stigma is one of the biggest barriers to treatment for people struggling with substance dependencies with only one in seven seeking help. This needs to change and we feel honored to be working with TWLOHA to help address it. It’s okay to not be okay and we want to help spread that message.”
