Ahluwalia has launched a limited edition drop from its fall/winter 2021 offering. The drop re-imagines signature pieces from the Traces collection.

With the drop, Ahluwalia expands existing designs, illustrating that garments can be mutable and timeless. As a source of inspiration, the book Home Going was important in implementing sensory new colors. The color palette of the re-imagined drop includes varying shades of cobalt and navy blue, a rich green, grey, a touch of rust and black.

The collection includes a few graphic t-shirts and a sweatshirt that come in grey and black variations. The drop’s sportswear-focused garment is a green, blue and black geometric tracksuit. For an elevated garment, the drop presents a cool blue, white and black button-down with red Ahluwalia branding on the left chest. The collection’s denim offering is an oversized denim jacket that features various, yet subtle shades of blue. The jacket is then paired with matching jeans.

“After a great 3 years of business and getting the brand into amazing retailers, I wanted to work on our own e-commerce platform and growing our unique Ahluwalia customer base,” said Priya Ahluwalia. “I wanted to think about what our popular signature pieces are, mainly denim, track and graphic pieces and then reimagine them in different colour variations to create a very special drop.”

The pieces are available now exclusively on Ahluwalia’s website.
