Berlin is known the world over for its iconic DIY music scene. A legendary culture that moves and binds the city in a way that attracts partygoers from all over the world.

To track the recent history in how this scene developed, Slanted Publishers has released a new coffee table book dubbed Please Come: Shameless/Limitless — Selected Posters & Texts 2008-2020. The book specifically follows the trajectory of Berlin promoter, Shameless/Limitless, who is accredited for cultivating the scenes past 12 years.

At 536 pages, the book is packed with over 200 posters across 40 Berlin venues — contributions from over 100 designers, guest texts from the likes of Molly Nilsson and Alex Cameron, to promos featuring everyone from Project Pablo, TOPS, Arcade Fire and more. Also included is a special interview between contributor Norman Palm and S/L founder Kevin Halpin.

Please Come: Shameless/Limitless — Selected Posters & Texts 2008-2020 retails for 42.00€ and is available to purchase on Slanted’s website.

Be sure to also check out the Acne Paper book commemorating its fashion-focused magazine.
