Bas Enlists J. Cole and Lil Tjay for New Single "The Jackie"
A strong contender for this year’s summer anthem.
Bas has joined forces with Dreamville head J. Cole and the Bronx’s Lil Tjay for his newest track, “The Jackie.”
Clocking in at approximately three-and-a-half minutes, the cut includes production by T-Minus and is, as Dreamville promised, a summer anthem. The melodic effort features a catchy chorus from Cole who raps “You see the drop top, b*tch / Stop playing with me / She say she wanna let the waves splash down on me,” plus imposing verses from Bas and Lil Tjay who sound like they’re currently at the top of their game.
The collab was initially teased in June when Lil Tjay shared a series of Instagram photos from their video shoot. Bas himself also previewed the track on his Instagram Stories.
