Elon Musk Confirms Tesla Roadster Will Go 0-60 MPH in 1.1 Seconds
Thanks to a “SpaceX Rocket Thruster” option package.

News has come out revealing that Tesla’s Roadster will be even faster than originally promised. Already expected to be the fastest production car with a top speed of 249 mph and an acceleration of 0-62 mph in 1.9 seconds, the sportscar will be able to reach new speeds thanks to a “SpaceX Rocket Thruster” option package.
Confirmed on Twitter, when one user pointed out that the sportscar could reach 0-60 mph in 1.1 seconds, Elon Musk chimed in with “Yes, with the SpaceX rocket thruster option package. It will be safe, but very intense. Probably not wise for those with a medical condition – same as a hardcore roller coaster.” This scary acceleration will be achieved using cold air rocket thrusters positioned at the rear of the car.
