Polo Ralph Lauren Teams with MLB For Expansive Collection
Inspired by Ralph Lauren’s lifelong love of baseball, the offerings spotlight the Yankees, Dodgers, Cubs and Cardinals.
Polo Ralph Lauren and MLB have teamed up for an expansive collection centered around four teams: the New York Yankees, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals. Inspired by Ralph Lauren‘s lifelong love for baseball — he’s a Bronx native and die-hard Yankees fan who grew up idolizing stars like Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle and even threw out a first pitch at a game in 2018 to celebrate his brand’s 50th anniversary — the collection combines Lauren’s ever-watchful eye for Americana with classic baseball flair.
The wide-ranging collection consists of everything from fleece pieces to polos, jackets and hats. Standouts include three satin Yankees jackets inspired by Lauren’s “first pitch” jacket, polo shirts with team logos plus special RL hits and various Polo Bear items that feature the beloved mascot decked out in either Yankees, Dodgers, Cubs or Cardinals attire. All pieces are done up in multiple palettes, ranging from original team colors to classic RL combos like navy/red and green/white. The collection was produced in a unisex size run, and kids’ items are available as well.

The first drop from the Polo Ralph Lauren x MLB collection is available now via the Ralph Lauren webstore. Other pieces will hit the market in the fall and holiday seasons.
