Margaret Howell Celebrates "Comfortable, Slouchy and Casual" Clothing for FW21
Including an all-new Mizuno collaboration.
Classic London-based label Margaret Howell followed up its recent Babour collaboration by unveiling its Fall/Winter 2021 collection, continuing to hone its signature stripped-back aesthetic. Describing the pieces as “comfortable, slouchy and casual,” the label continues to examine military influences, heritage fabrics and rich colors for FW21.
Stand-out features of the new collection include the use of textiles such as Harris Tweed and corduroy on long, tailored jackets, as well as oversized knitwear items and an eye catching two-color Fairisle yoke sweater. Throughout the collection, the color palette introduces notes of “Mustard,” “Mahogany,” “Chestnut” and “Forest.”
Elsewhere, FW21 features new pieces from the MHL. line — such as cotton military macs and Japanese natural yarn dyed T-shirts — as well as Margaret Howell’s latest collaboration with Mizuno. The collaborative pieces range from a winterized sneaker to a parker and zip-up jacket, all of which mix Margaret Howell’s signature aesthetic with Mizuno’s technical expertise.
