Nike Continues the "NY vs NY" Footwear Series With the Dunk Low
Each of the major NY high school tournaments are listed out on the pair’s translucent outsoles.

New York is home to some of the most talented young hoopers in the USA, and Nike tends to show love to this community with its “NY vs NY” footwear series that pays homage to all of the iconic tournaments that are played around the city including Dyckman Park, West 4th, Watson, Lincoln Park, Tristate and Gersh Park. After applying this motif to the Air Force 1 Low last year, the Swoosh is once again turning to this initiative to introduce the Nike Dunk Low “NY vs NY” colorway.
On this hoops-themed piece, three tones are brought to the table in terms of coloring for its upper half. Landing on the collars, quarter paneling and toe boxes is a drab olive green, while a clean white hue cascades over the surrounding overlays for brighter contrasting. From there, bursts of orange stand out atop the Nike branding on the tongues and heels, the Swooshes as well as the “NY vs NY” logo that is embroidered into the lateral heels. Riding down below is a colorless midsole while a translucent outsole that spells out each of the aforementioned tourneys in vertical fashion.
A release date hasn’t been confirmed just yet but expect Nike to launch these likely within the coming months.
