Batman and 'Fortnite: Zero Point' Announce Comic Book Crossover Event
The six-issue series will also include DC-themed ‘Fortnite’ digital items.
Batman is returning to the Fortnite universe with a special comic book crossover event.
The six-issue Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point series will follow the Caped Crusader as he is sucked into the Fortnite island with none of his memories. As he battles other figures in the island, he’s also faced with the problem of time as it resets itself every 22 minutes:
“As our hero fights to recall his past and escape an endless loop of chaos and struggle, he’ll come face-to-face with the likes of Renegade Raider, Fishstick, Bandolier, and more. While the World’s Greatest Detective strives to make sense of this strange new world, he’ll uncover the shocking truth about the Island, what lies beyond the Loop, and how everything is connected to the mysterious Zero Point.”
Each print issue will include a redeemable code for bonus DC-themed Fortnite digital items that are inspired by the events in the comics, including a new Rebirth Harley Quinn Outfit. Fans who are able to redeem all of the six codes will be gifted with a new Armored Batman Zero Outfit.
Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #1 is now available at comic shops and online at the DC Universe Infinite U.S. store. The next five issues will release on May 4, May 18, June 1, June 15 and, finally, July 6.
In other Batman news, Michael Keaton will officially reprise his role as the Gotham staple in The Flash.
