Schnayderman’s has presented its Fall/Winter 2021 collection as part of this season’s digital Copenhagen Fashion Week. The presentation took the form of a fictional fashion show titled “The Outsiders,” referencing the collection’s influence from those who choose not to conform.

Other key reference points for the collection range from Francis Coppola’s film The Outsiders, Philippe Petit’s high-wire routing between the Twin Towers, outsider artists and Salvation Mountain in California. “We are inspired by people who carve their own personal path through life, their intriguing stories and the way they approach making beautiful art. There is a lot to learn from their individual views on life,” said Schnayderman’s creative director Hampus Bernhoff.

Throughout the collection, Schnayderman’s reinterprets the suit through the introduction of trousers that complement shirts and overshirts, while outerwear comes in generous fits and with exaggerated details and knit and jersey pieces continue to grow. For FW21, Schnayderman’s introduces its first denim fit, featuring a combined chino and denim trouser with a slight dropped crotch and altered details.

Elsewhere, the emerging label has collaborated with accessories label MAKR to create tote bags constructed from heavy canvas and printed with artworks from the collection.

Take a look through the lookbook in the gallery above. Schnayderman’s FW21 collection will begin arriving at select stockists in August this year.
