Gabriel Garzón-Montano and Jamila Woods have teamed up for the Armando Young remix of “Someone,” a track on Garzón-Montano’s latest full-length Agüita. “I’m grateful to be able to make such beautiful music with friends. Armando is a beast and Jamila is a monster so I was in the most loving hands. I’m honored to present this ‘Someone’ remix,” the French-Colombian artist said. Woods added, “I’ve been a big fan of Gabriel for a while and it was so fun to re-make this song with him! The lyrics are so visual and vulnerable and the story of the song really resonated with me. Armando’s remix brought such a good energy and made it one of those songs that invites you to dance your feelings out.”

JPEGMAFIA - EP2!

JPEGMAFIA quickly followed up his December 2020 project EP! with the aptly-titled EP2!. Once again entirely written, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by the Flatbush-born artist, the project boasts of a more dialled back tone, with cuts like “FIX URSELF!” and “FEED HER!” hearing a calmer side of JPEGMAFIA as he sings ever so softly over a fusion of strings, synthesizers and unidentifiable noises, touching on everything from jealousy and self-doubt to the alt-right movement and the surveillance state.

But I do have almost an album worth of stuff that I might finish. I don’t know. I’ve been taking it day by day,” she said. “Matt is supposed to pull up as soon and we’re supposed to start working on some new Internet tunes, so that should be fun. If they come out fire, we will drop them.”
