Pornhub Releases Annual "Year in Review" Statistics for 2021

Pornhub is now in its 8th year for its “Year in Review” where the site takes all its data from the entire year for a detailed look at the consumption habits of its users. Recaped as colorful infographics with rankings, each year brings interesting findings amongst the different categories, trends, and varying demographics.

While 2018 saw a surge in the searching of the words “Fortnite” and “Bowsette,” 2019’s trending topics on the platform were “amateur” and “aliens.” For 2020, one single search stood out and that was “quarantine.” For 2021, things take a step back for a more lo-fi source of erotica as “Hentai” tops the list of most searched terms, dethroning “Japanese.” Check out some of the findings below along with a video recap hosted by Aria Nathaniel above.
