Fans of the Nike LeBron 2 are in for a treat in 2022. The pair is expected to return next year in not only the original colorway but in new ones as well. The classic color scheme sees the shoe in black, crimson and white — bringing sneakerheads back to 2004 when the shoe was first introduced. The Nike LeBron 2s are LeBron James‘ second signature shoe and are slated to make a return for the first time ever early next Fall.

The shoe is a chunkier silhouette that boasts a prominent velcro strap around the ankle and the heel. The design also features a ballistic mesh upper and premium leather overlays on top of a double-stacked Zoom Air sole unit. The signature Nike Swoosh is highlighted in white on the ankle strap while the branding LJ23 and King James lion logos are overlayed on the leather details. “LeBron” is embossed into the heel as additional subtle characteristics of the shoe.

Sole Collector reported that in the past, LeBron has incorporated the Air Zoom Generation to other Nike LeBron models including an updated version of the LeBron 2s in cheetah print he wore in 2014 and another in a “Dunkman” color scheme.

Look out for the Nike LeBron 2 in a number of colorways for 2022. Stay tuned to Nike for additional details.
