Emerging Label Meta/Father LLC Captures "Living in Question" With its October Pink Release
A next-level bootleg.
Continuing his investigation of streetwear culture, Hoyee Li of Starwalk, BUBBLEGUM and YEEZY associate has teamed up with emerging creative José Wong to form “Meta/Father LLC.” The fledgling label in development for years has now readied its debut footwear release centered around its concept of “living in question.”
Building on the Nike Air Yeezy 2 NRG, the next-level bootleg reimagines key elements found on the footwear model to create a dialogue around icons and understanding. The upper of the shoe features a striking mix of gray patterns and textures with Meta/Father LLC’s “?” symbol applied on the snakeskin panels in vibrant pink. The contrasting pink is continued on the sockliners and white on tongues.
Additional detailing comes in the form of “META” branding on the forefoot strap lockdowns and the tongues feature Horus badges stylized with “?” in the center of the motif. Rounding up the design of the shoe are white midsoles and translucent green rubber outsoles marked with further Meta/Father LLC branding.
Take a first look at Meta/Father LLC’s October Pink sneaker above set to release sometime this December.
