Tristan Thompson had a fan ejected from the Memphis Grizzlies-Sacramento Kings game on November 28.

According to reports, the Grizzlies fan was removed from his courtside seat at the FedExForum in the fourth quarter. Drew Hill of the Daily Memphian added that the spectator had made comments about the Kardashians directed at Thompson; the NBA player shares a three-year-old daughter with Khloe Kardashian. “Per multiple people around the fan that was thrown out of the Grizzlies game tonight, he was tossed because he was making comments about the Kardashian family in the direction of Tristan Thompson,” Hill tweeted, however the specific comments were not shared.

Kings coach Alvin Gentry addressed the ejection after the game, “I think (when) you pay for a ticket you’ve got a right to boo guys, you’ve got a right to cheer for your team … but inappropriate things should never be what anyone should say.” He also refused to repeat the comments the ejected fan made, “I don’t think it needs to be talked about or anything, but obviously it’s not anything that I’m going to tolerate people saying to my players, I know that, not without intervening and asking them to be removed.” Gentry added, “They can say anything they want to me or they can boo and do everything they want with the players, but there’s no room for saying inappropriate things in a sporting event. That’s not why you’re there.”

The news arrives just shortly after LeBron James had two fans ejected during the Pacers-Lakers game. The NBA star warned that “obscene gestures and language” should not “be tolerated” during these games, adding, “There’s a difference from cheering for your team and not wanting the other team to win and things I would never say to a fan and they shouldn’t say to me.”

Elsewhere in sports, LeBron James responded to Isaiah Stewart’s claims that he elbowed him intentionally.
