Richardson Drops a Capsule Collection With Penny Slinger
Featuring a reversible MA-1 bomber jacket, a hoodie and more.
Richardson has partnered with London-born artist Penny Slinger on a new collection that incorporates her signature surrealist, photo collage and poetry styles.
As a California-based pro-sex feminist artist, Slinger’s work takes a look at all things feminine, erotic and the nature of self. For the collaborative capsule collection, Richardson utilizes three of Slinger’s works, which include Mountain Ecstasy, 50% The Visible Woman and An Exorcism. Additionally, the collaboration offers a peek at the upcoming edition of Richardson magazine, A10, which features excerpts from the three books.
The new collection includes a reversible MA-1 bomber jacket, a hoodie, a long-sleeve t-shirt, a short-sleeve t-shirt, a tote bag and a baseball cap. Collection garments feature images and excerpts from Slinger’s work, which can be seen on the white “Transfiguration” long-sleeve tee, the black “Wanted” hoodie and more. A highlight of the collection is the “Death Trip” reversible MA-1 bomber jacket, featuring a simple black “Death Trip” design and a more eccentric blue, white and black photo collage design when reversed.
With prices ranging from $60 USD to $326 USD, the collection is available at Richardson’s NY and LA stores and on the brand’s website.
